Brave Hearts of the North East received an unexpected invitation to a donation event.

The event was held by Sterling Pharma Solutions based in Cramlington on Tuesday 25th June, a wet and dreary afternoon brightened by the afternoon's proceedings.

Sterling Pharma have an outstanding ethos on both Charity and Community support through a programme of staff engagement in matching the financial fundraising efforts of their employees.

Neill Taylor is an employee of Sterling Pharma and the proud father of Grace Taylor, a 2017 Brave Hearts Awardee. Grace with the support of family and friends has raised funds for Brave Hearts and Teenage Cancer Trust. Grace is an amazing girl who deservedly received the "Fundraising Award" presented at an award ceremony by Northern Children of Courage in May this year. The award is " to recognise a young person who has gone beyond expectations to raise money for a good cause"; what an achievement.

Grace and her family wanted to recognise the support from Brave Hearts and Teenage Cancer Trust at a very difficult time in their lives.

Grace is determined in her efforts and is continuing to support other children by raising awareness and much-needed funds. Visit her Instagram page " teencancerwarrior ".
