Sunderland Football Club's Stadium of Light was the setting for our largest Presentation since our Charity began. 150 guests had a wonderful time. 20 brave children were honoured, sadly three passed away before they could be given their awards. With immense courage the parents of Troy Bainbridge, Philip Green and Aaron Nawaz accepted the posthumous awards.


As well as family and friends the event was attended by many organisations who kindly donate to Brave Hearts. Sunderland F.C provided their mascot Samson, who managed to persuade Lee to start supporting the best team in the North East. so he is now officially a Mackam !
