SCOPE OF THE CHARITY
Extract from the Trust Deed:
“1. THE TRUSTEES
...declare that the ...sums... subscribed... should be applied...for
the purpose of providing for the benefit and relief of children
under the age of 16 years on the 1st day of January in any particular
year of benefit who reside within the area of benefit...through
a display of exceptional character in overcoming difficulty arising
out of serious sickness or injury of whatever nature are deemed
by the Trustees to be deserving of an award to recognize such achievement
by making grants of money or otherwise to or for the benefit of
such persons or by arranging holidays for them or otherwise providing
gifts and prizes of a tangible nature or otherwise.
2. THE CHARITY...shall be administered under the Title of “Brave
Hearts Of The North East”
3. THE AREA of benefit...shall be the counties of Northumberland
- Durham - North Yorkshire Tyne and Wear - Cleveland - Cumbria
